Mary Frances Parker was admitted to the Tennessee Bar and the Supreme Court of Tennessee Bar in 2006. Since 2008, she has also been admitted to practice in the Middle Tennessee Federal District and the Eastern Tennessee Federal District.

She received her undergraduate degree in Political Science from The University of Tennessee. Afterward she attended Nashville School of Law, where she concentrated her studies in the areas of Family and Juvenile Law and Civil Rights. While in law school, Ms. Parker clerked for several prestigious law firms working in a variety of areas, including plaintiff litigation, criminal defense, and civil rights.

Ms. Parker now focuses her practice exclusively in the area of family law and domestic litigation at the law firm of Higgins, Himmelberg and Piliponis. She has represented clients in circuit courts, chancery courts, general sessions courts, juvenile courts, and federal courts. Over time, she has become particularly dedicated to protecting the interests of fathers who seek to play a significant role in their children’s lives following divorce or separation.

When she is not working, Ms. Parker enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband and her two dogs. She enjoys gardening, running, and traveling.
